Parm joined Eversheds as a trainee in 1987 and became a partner in 1997. He is the founding member of Eversheds' India Group and is currently Head of the Group. Parm and his colleagues visit India regularly, meeting both Indian corporates looking to invest outside India and also EMEA, Asian & US companies doing business in India. Parm is client partner for a number of Indian companies from a variety of industry sectors.

Parm regularly participates in "thought leadership" events, chairing panel discussions and hosting workshops on major issues relating to India, both in India and in Europe. He also speaks at international conferences on the opportunities available to foreign companies looking to invest into India and the challenges that those companies will face prior to and after making any investment. Parm is a member of the UK India Business Council and The City UK India Group.
